The next artist to grace the new installment of WE ARE INDIE is the amazing Jessika Grewe Glover. Based out of the humid shores of South Florida, then eventually making her bones in Los Angeles, California, Jessika is a multi-genre writer, from literary to speculative fiction (fantasy, romance, etc). I asked Jessika if there was a moment in her life when she knew she wanted to become a writer:
“There wasn’t a real moment. I’ve been writing since I was little, obsessing over setting and storylines. The idea of creating something that I or anyone reading would FEEL SOMETHING about gave me momentum”

The spectrum of emotions cast when we are interlopers in our own lives, never quite belonging, yet creating a space so irreversibly magnificent, these places in which we never really belonged, are gold-touched from our presence, however fleeting.”
She’s the author of the contemporary fantasy series, ANOTHER BEAST’S SKIN, STARS LIKE GASOLINE, a romantic Florida gothic, BLOODLILY, a vampire romance and lastly, the forthcoming Florida gothic, BROMELIAD HOUSE. The former are all out now wherever books are sold.
